Wow! What an amazing time I had at TxLA 2026. In addition to meeting fabulous Texas librarians, I had the honor of presenting A Pathway for Pollinators on the panel “What’s So Funny (or Freaky) About Real Life: Nonfiction That Hooks Kids” with the truly inspiration authors Kari Lavelle (Butt or Face series), Maynard Okereke (Zombie Spiders and Asteroid Blasters), and Derrick Barnes (Seven Million Steps.)
